This is a a new version of a story I've been working on since high school, sort of a homage to Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, in which a select group of people discover that dogs (and cats) are a lot more than we ever suspected. I never completed this draft, but I hope to one day, and that's a little of why I'm trying to keep it around.
